Who builds it

Who builds Horizon213

An ERP is a decision a business lives with for years, so it is fair to ask who is behind it before asking what it does. This page answers that, and it answers the harder question underneath it: what happens to your installation if Horizon213 stops answering the phone.

The editor

Horizon213 is built and supported by one editor in Algeria, working in Arabic, French and English.

The registration details of the editor are given in writing with any quotation, and on request before that. They are not published on this page yet.

01What if Horizon213 disappears?

This is the right question to ask a small editor, and the answer is structural rather than reassuring words. A self-hosted deployment ships with its source on your own server. If the editor stops answering, the ERP keeps running exactly as it did the day before, and any competent developer can read it: standard Next.js and PostgreSQL, no licence key to expire, nothing that phones home for permission, no obfuscated code. Your data is a plain PostgreSQL database you can dump any day of the week, whether or not anyone helps you.

  • Source on your server with every self-hosted install, with the right to keep running and modifying it
  • No licence key, no activation server, no expiry
  • No phone-home: an installation with the internet unplugged still works, apart from what genuinely needs a connection
  • Your database is standard PostgreSQL — exportable, readable, and yours
  • Books can be exported to CSV for an accountant at any time, without giving them access to the system

02What a deployment includes

Deployment is a short guided path rather than a project. The parts that usually take weeks — the chart of accounts, the fiscal identifiers, the document templates, the module set — are configuration with Algerian defaults, not development.

  • Installation on your server, or hosted, from the same codebase
  • Company setup: legal identity, NIF, NIS, RC, tax regime, document wording, and the modules your business actually uses
  • Your existing customers, suppliers, catalogue, opening stock and open balances imported from checked CSV templates rather than retyped
  • The people who will use it walked through their own daily work, in the language they work in
  • Written guides for every screen, in Arabic, French and English

03How support works

One number, answered by somebody who knows the product, in Arabic, French or English. It is honest to say what that means: this is a small editor, not a call centre with a night shift. What it buys you is that the person answering can change the software, which a reseller cannot.

  • Phone and WhatsApp on the number above
  • Questions about your own figures can also be answered inside the ERP, by an assistant that only reads the modules your company runs
  • Software updates are yours to take when they suit you, not pushed on a schedule that interrupts a month-end

04What Horizon213 does not claim

The limits are published rather than discovered during implementation. Horizon213 prepares VAT working papers and payroll declarations but files nothing — statutory filing stays with your accountant. It produces the bilan and the compte de résultat in SCF presentation, but not the annexes or the liasse fiscale. It records a lot number and an expiry date, but does not trace which lot a particular sale drew from. The Questions page states each of these in the same words a salesperson would have to use.
